Be part of the legend!
Join us in our attempt to beat the Guinness World Record™ settled last year by being more than 352 kiters to ride a mile together! The event will be held by Virgin Kitesurf World Championships (VKWC) in Tarifa – Spain – on the 11th or 12th of July. The chosen day will be announced on the 6th and will depend on the wind forecast.
The meeting point will take place in Playa de los Lances, zona carriles, km 80 de la Carretera N-340, about 3 kilometers away from Tarifa.
Some of the world best kiteboarders competing on the VKWC such as Gisela Pulido (ES) and Youri Zoon (NL) will be part of the mission, riding just next to you. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the champions and learn from their experience.
The Guinness World Record™ attempt is also about sharing great times together with the kitesurfing community in a friendly atmosphere. Once the contest is over, you will enjoy live music in a chill-out area.
The cost of registration starts at 20 euros. Part of this money will be donated to the Estrecho (the Strait) Natural Park in order to maintain and preserve it. For 50€ you can keep your lycra of the record as well as a title proving that you were part of this historic kitesurfing session!
